Silicone Nerve Bra
August 12th, 2008 - Wearables
Usually silicone is found inside a bra, but for this special nerve bra, silicone was used on the outside as a means of sculpting light into organic shapes with a geometric pattern.

Sounds difficult? Basically this bra has a lot of LEDs, 31 for each side, in beautiful rainbow colors flashing eight different patterns which can be selected by the person wearing it. The bra in the picture is a base bra, a nude seamless type which creates the illusion that the skin is being exposed and the light is coming from within the body.

There’s also another type of bra called the Nerve Bra 2.0. This type of bra is a simplified version of the above one (no silicone) and features 13 lights per side, so 26 LEDs in total. These lights are arranged in the same fashion with rainbow colors. These LEDs pulse in the same 8 patterns like the other bra.
Both bras are custom made, the first one will cost you $600 while the other one costs $300. There are also ready-made bras available here.
