LED Clothes

This new clothing line called rhyme and reason is an exploration in using light as a material to create a new sort of fashion. It is designed to bring magic and mystery to the wearer.

The designer, Mary Huang, makes her scarves from a machine-knit material. Her ethereal white dress is a combination of hand-crocheted flowers and woven cotton jersey. More than two dozen white LEDs are embedded in each clothing piece.

When you want to go outside, simply connect the battery pack. Not only is it safe to wear at night since all cars will notice you, it’s also very magical to use this dress during for example a night wedding ceremony.

And it gets better: when you’re not wearing these pieces, they can function as a lamp.
